PEACE TO NIGERIA - Part 6: A Prayer For The Election

The day has finally come. The presidential election is finally here and ongoing. Nigerians are trooping out in their millions to cast their votes for their preferred candidate. No one really knows how it will turn out as yet but our collective desire is not unknown: Let righteousness prevail and may this election establish the interest of God in our nation, favour the people of Nigeria and follow a peaceful, free, fair and credible process.

I invite all well meaning Nigerians to join this prayer for our nation even as we simultaneously discharge our civic duties by showing up to vote our candidates.

Let us pray.

Lord, influence the decisions of Nigerians. Cause the majority to align with your candidate for us and lead our nation out of her present darkness into light.

Lord, whosoever represents Goliath leading the warring Phillistines against this nation, may he fall before your anointed David in today's election, whoever that is also. Even if he is from a smaller party and all he has are five (5) smooth stones and a catapult, O God, our Lord, bring down the Goliath and deliver your people from their enemies.

Lord, freeze all weapons, catch the crafty in their craftiness, disappoint the expectations of those who plot evil, and let not man prevail. O Lord, make Nigerians see today that you, The Almighty rules in the affairs of men.

BE COMFORTED NIGERIANS: The result of this election shall be GOD'S RESULT as it was in 2015. And ALL NIGERIANS WILL WIN! This nation will not descend below the CIVILIZATION of 2015 where the incumbent President conceded defeat and went home a hero.

Since there can only be one winner, may the candidates that will LOSE this election also ACCEPT defeat and go home with HONOUR for "no man's ambition is worth the blood of any Nigerian."

Peace to Nigeria!

GOD'S BLUEPRINT FOR NIGERIA [Part 1]

GOD'S BLUEPRINT FOR NIGERIA [Part 1] By Macpaul Ifeanyichukwu Okolo These three were the sons of Noah and from these the whole earth was populated. [Gen.9:19] NAIJA, WE BE BRETHREN - Though not born by one mother, we have common ancestry. NAIJA, WE BE BRETHREN God gave a man named Nigeria three sons.   One is named Feudal, another Monarchy and the other is named Republican. Feudal's nature is do mineering, Monarchy is imperialistic while Republican's nature is egalitarian equality and justice for all. Feudal can only prosper in feudalism - a type of government where one powerful fief will wield control over an estate, and be dominant. Monarchy will succeed naturally in an environment where every citizen is subservient to the king while Republican can only thrive in a government where power belongs to the people and equal rights reign. Remember that these men are the three sons of one man called Nigeria. Now let us...   1. Figur...

GOD’S BLUEPRINT FOR NIGERIA [Part 2]

GOD'S BLUEPRINT FOR NIGERIA [PART 2]   By Macpaul Ifeayichukwu Okolo CHANGE BRINGS PROGRESS IT IS NOT PROGRESS THAT BRINGS CHANGE BAD ATTITUDE HINDERS PROGRESS - Macpaul I. Okolo   FROM THE EDITOR'S DESK Thank you for following us as God unveils His blueprint for our dear nation, Nigeria . Today, we will find out the kind of change God wants for N igeria and Nigerians.   Now, the story continues...   Aside from the difference in the political nature of the three sons of Mr. Nigeria, there are clear differences in other areas of their lives, their economy for example. Feudal’s nature favours MONOPOLY; Monarchy favours STATE CONTROLLED ECONOMY while Republican favours FREE ENTERPRISE SYSTEM.   From birth, these brothers had played down these natural propensities, whereas in truth they are forces that cannot be ignored. God will have Nigerians know everyone’s socio-political nature is an endowment from God and it dictates ...

WELCOME TO NATIONAL PULPIT... Speaking for God over Nigeria and Africa

This is National Pulpit... Sharing God's Views on National Issues. No one can act or react beyond the amount of information available to him/her. So, mind what you hear for what you hear determines what you see, what you see determines what you think, your thoughts determine what you say, and what you say determines what you do; invariably, what you do determines what you will become. Likewise, who you are is a product of what you do; what you do reveals what you know; what you know is the fruit of your source; your source is your quality; and your quality distinguishes you. Nigeria is where it is because of the quality [NOT quantity] of information available to her. As you may know, there are many people speaking about Nigeria.... each one speaking and acting according to the quality of information available to him or her. Whatever their motives, everyone speaks according to his own views which are largely coloured by the nature and/or biases of his sour...
