FAITH OBEYS - Win By Obedience

Happy new year Nigerians!
Welcome to the Word at the foundation.
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God... All things were made by Him..."
(John 1:1-2)
Every child of God ought to put the Word of God at the beginning of everything he does and run the entire course by the Word of God. If you want to build a rich relationship with God, a happy family, an acceptable ministry, a successful enterprise, business or excel at your job, or even to play well, you can only do so by the Word of God.
Everything will fail and fade with time, only the things built on the Word of God will endure forever.
Here's the Word of God, healthy and pure, that you can put at the foundation of your life this year and beyond for it is an eternal truth.
Operate this key today, tomorrow, all year round and for years to come and it will continue to deliver to you the very best God offers His own.
Hebrews 11:8-9
"By FAITH Abraham OBEYED when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going."
John 2:4-5
"Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does your concern have to do with Me? My hour has not yet come.”
His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it. (Obey)”
Practically, FAITH IS OBEDIENCE
By FAITH Abraham OBEYED...
As a young man and a growing Christian, I struggled a lot with faith. Given to using my senses, intelligence and connections, I was practically incapable of faith. But I wanted to, I couldn't settle for spiritual handicap, so I continued to pray and enquire from the Lord, until He showed me from the scriptures with overwhelming evidence: FAITH IS OBEDIENCE.
For example: God said, Abraham, leave your Father's land for an unknown country, and Abraham said, "YES SIR".
'Circumcise yourself...' at age 90
Abraham said, "YES SIR".
'Circumcise your 8-day old son'... Abraham said, "YES SIR". "Walk before me and be perfect", Abraham did.
'Give me your son, (Isaac) your only son whom you loved (the same son he waited 25 years for) and Abraham said, "YES SIR". He obeyed.
These are all strange instructions. Abraham cannot point at one person he ever knew that did any of these... Yet, He obeyed. That is faith.
Abraham's faith is obedience and he is the father of faith.
Jesus asked the servants to pour water in a jar, draw out some and serve the governor of the feast. And they did. They obeyed. That was faith.
He asked Peter to come walk on water and he obeyed.
By faith, Abraham OBEYED. The servants obeyed. Peter obeyed. Do you want to exercise faith? Simply: OBEY!
"And whatever He says to you, do it" [OBEY]!
Sense is the greatest enemy of mankind.
Faith [as obedience] is the first law in heaven and without obedience no man can please the Lord.
Without faith [obedience], you cannot put water in a jar and serve it to the Governor as wine. Your sense won't allow you. Your knowledge of Chemistry and Biology won't let you. Your class, your age won't allow you.
Without obedience [faith], you cannot open the tomb of a man that's been dead and rotten for four days and untie the once dead but now living man wrapped in clothes.
Without obedience, you cannot receive the rewards of your ‘services to God'. You need faith to know that God rewards those that diligently seek Him.
Without obedience, you cannot cast your net into the deep in broad day light after fishing all night to no avail.
Without obedience, Ruth would have remained without husband and never be the grandmother of our Lord Jesus. At the risk of her life, she had to OBEY the counsel of Naomi to lie down at the feet of Boaz and run away immediately he wakes up and God took it over from there.
Without obedience, when you ask the mountain to move, it will not. It will disobey you just as you disobey God. When your obedience is complete, you command God's creation and they will obey.
Listen, God can never give you anything cheap. If you ever get anything cheap - that is, without obedience - God did not give it to you. You got it by your own hand.
Many of us wish to be more and do more for God. Why not!
You can do MORE, Just OBEY more!
Many of us want to be so close to the Holy Spirit. Good desire. You can have it, just OBEY HIM MORE.
If you have faith (obedience), you could draw up a plan, present it before Him and obey all instructions He gives you and they will all be done. By faith, you can conceive and and succeed at anything by the hand of God through obedience.
Knowing this, I cry often for my fellow Africans, especially Nigerians because obedience is free and available to all yet Africans are suffering.
I tell you, whatever is not working in Africa are simply fallouts of disobedience. Corruption, impunity, poverty etc are all consequences of disobedience.
By obedience, you can rise and overcome all weak resolves and self-indulgent African attitudes.
You can overcome laziness, wastefulness, self doubt, timidity, and all limitations by obedience.
Let no man deceive you, your well being and greatness is the outcome of your obedience.
WHATEVER YOU END UP BECOMING IS THE OUTCOME OF YOUR OBEDIENCE. [Q.E.D.]
Peter walked on water as long as he remained obedient. When he turned aside and looked with his senses, he began to sink.
Friends, the faith of Abraham is obedience.
The faith of Jesus is obedience.
The faith of Peter is obedience.
The faith of Daniel and Joseph is obedience. They found strength through faith to resist their darkest temptations by obedience.
The Certificate Of Faith Is OBEDIENCE. There's no other way to prove your faith but by obedience. Faith obeys!
Nothing God loves like OBEDIENCE and nothing God hates like DISOBEDIENCE!
"To obey is better than sacrifice and to heed is better than the fat of rams. Disobedience [rebellion] is like the sin of witchcraft and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry."
"If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land." (Isaiah 1:19)
If only you will obey God's instructions this year and beyond:
You will draw your water as wine
You will catch fish at odd times
You will walk on your water
And you will eat the good of the land, for there's good in Nigeria.
By faith, go to your family, your ministry/work/business, and Go GERMINATE, DOMINATE, RULE and WIN BY OBEDIENCE in Jesus' name.
