WHAT GOD TOLD ME ABOUT NIGERIA

WHAT GOD TOLD ME ABOUT NIGERIA

       - BY MACPAUL IFEANYICHUKWU OKOLO -

The Bible says in the book of Isaiah 60:2

For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.” [NKJV]

Despite the worldwide intoxication, moral downgrade, economic meltdown, conspiracy theories, terror threats, separatist movements, refugees and immigration problems, social restiveness and artificial intelligence, genetic engineering, euthanasia and cloning, situational ethics and value modification; the word of God holds true to any nation or people that will look up to God for direction and leadership. The future is always bright for the nation that finds their placement in God’s order of events.

As one who has stood before the Presence of the Lord seeking and obtaining relief for Nigeria for nearly two decades, I can conveniently tell you that God rules in the affairs of men. He sets up kings and removes kings; He builds up nations and overthrow nations.
What God says cannot be set aside by anyone. He is the Only Person who can say anything and it shall come to pass.

These are some of the things God told me about Nigeria.

CORRUPTION

Righteousness exalts a nation but sin [corruption] is a reproach to any people. [Prov.14:34 NKJV]

Righteousness makes a nation great; sin is a disgrace to any nation. [GNB]

Sin [Corruption] is the cause of the reproach of Nigerians all over the world.

The Lord does not take pleasure in the death of sinners. God will have us know that His hands are not shortened as to save us but our sins are causing a separation between us and God.

God said that if we can humble ourselves and pray for forgiveness of our sins – He will hear from heaven and heal our land. The way out for Nigeria is NATIONAL REPENTANCE.

It is high time we called for a National Repentance Day - a day set aside to pray for the forgiveness of the sins of Nigeria. Such national prayers of repentance should be accompanied by a national edict or decree asking all citizens to humble themselves on a certain date, and pray for forgiveness of our sins as a nation and as individuals like the people of Nineveh did, Israelites did, the Jews in Babylon during Queen Esther’s era did etc. A particular location such as the Eagles Square or Tafawa Balewa Square and other designated centres may be chosen across the entire federation. The proceedings of the gathering should be on live broadcast for all Nigerians to participate. We must name our sins, regret them, ask God to forgive us and pledge to turn away from them. It must be a national prayer in every sense not some prayer groups.

This exercise will reposition our nation before God, prove that we do not approve of sin [corruption and corrupt practices] as a nation and make sinners [those who profit by/from corruption] to be in hiding.

PEACE IN NIGERIA

A lot of Nigerians [Government inclusive] and people all over the world are surprised that there is peace in Nigeria during and after the 2015 General Elections despite hate speeches, beating war drums and singing war songs.

God said the peace in Nigeria is His response to the longings of strife-weary Nigerians because whatever a man sows, he shall reap – Nigeria is known all over the world as a peace maker. God used Nigeria to bring peace in Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Gambia – therefore God has given us peace. Let it be on record that anyone who is trying to thwart the peace in Nigeria will have God to contend with.

***********************************************************************

THE EXECUTIVE, JUDICIARY AND LEGISLATURE

It was God who gave strength to those who took the battle to the gates of our enemies and justice to those who sit in judgement. [Isa.28:6]

Therefore God will continue to use them to scatter those that delight in war and cause wars to cease in Nigeria. God will continue to use them to freeze light and small arms in Nigeria in Jesus’ name.

God said He knows His thoughts for Nigerians – they are thoughts of peace and not of evil. [Jer.29:11]

God’s plan for Nigeria is good. Nigerians will not have less if they believe in God.

***********************************************************************

ELECTION / LEADERS

God told me that He will raise leaders in Nigeria who will vow to Him and He will give them the grace to perform their vows.

We should pray for such an experience in the 2019 elections.
***********************************************************************

UNITY OF NIGERIA

God said the marriage called Nigeria should continue; let the unbelieving partner depart in peace.
And Nigeria will rise as a great nation among non-aligned nations with the most religious tolerance level in the world.

***********************************************************************

MEDIA

May the Lord cut off every flattering lip and every bragging tongue that has said with lips such as ours, who can be our master? [Prov. 12:3-4]

This is timely warning to false media, rumor mongers, hate peddlers, and scare merchants. Fear the wrath to come and save yourselves.

By the mouth of the upright, the city is built but by the words of the wicked, it is thrown down.

God did not will war for Nigeria. Nigerians must not use their mouths to overthrow the nation.

RELIGIOUS LEADERS

'For among My people are found wicked men; They lie in wait as one who sets snares; They set a trap; They catch men. As a cage is full of birds, So their houses are full of deceit. Therefore they have become great and grown rich. They have grown fat, they are sleek; Yes, they surpass the deeds of the wicked; They do not plead the cause, The cause of the fatherless; Yet they prosper, And the right of the needy they do not defend. Shall I not punish them for these things?' says the LORD. 'Shall I not avenge Myself on such a NATION as this?' "An astonishing and horrible thing has been committed in the land: The prophets prophesy falsely, And the priests rule by their own power; And My people love to have it so. But what will you do in the end?
[Jer.5:26-30 NJKV]
The Lord God Almighty is not pleased with the Prophets who prophesy falsely and the Priests who rule by their own power… and the people love to have it so. But what will you do in the end?

The Lord will not wait for long. There will soon be a realignment in the Church. Those that are properly aligned with Christ and His mission will take center stage and lead the nation out of the present rot.

Time is ticking away.

It is not going to be business as usual.

Be warned!

WELCOME TO NATIONAL PULPIT... Speaking for God over Nigeria and Africa

This is National Pulpit... Sharing God's Views on National Issues. No one can act or react beyond the amount of information available to him/her. So, mind what you hear for what you hear determines what you see, what you see determines what you think, your thoughts determine what you say, and what you say determines what you do; invariably, what you do determines what you will become. Likewise, who you are is a product of what you do; what you do reveals what you know; what you know is the fruit of your source; your source is your quality; and your quality distinguishes you. Nigeria is where it is because of the quality [NOT quantity] of information available to her. As you may know, there are many people speaking about Nigeria.... each one speaking and acting according to the quality of information available to him or her. Whatever their motives, everyone speaks according to his own views which are largely coloured by the nature and/or biases of his sour...

GOD’S BLUEPRINT FOR NIGERIA [Part 2]

GOD'S BLUEPRINT FOR NIGERIA [PART 2]   By Macpaul Ifeayichukwu Okolo CHANGE BRINGS PROGRESS IT IS NOT PROGRESS THAT BRINGS CHANGE BAD ATTITUDE HINDERS PROGRESS - Macpaul I. Okolo   FROM THE EDITOR'S DESK Thank you for following us as God unveils His blueprint for our dear nation, Nigeria . Today, we will find out the kind of change God wants for N igeria and Nigerians.   Now, the story continues...   Aside from the difference in the political nature of the three sons of Mr. Nigeria, there are clear differences in other areas of their lives, their economy for example. Feudal’s nature favours MONOPOLY; Monarchy favours STATE CONTROLLED ECONOMY while Republican favours FREE ENTERPRISE SYSTEM.   From birth, these brothers had played down these natural propensities, whereas in truth they are forces that cannot be ignored. God will have Nigerians know everyone’s socio-political nature is an endowment from God and it dictates ...

GOD'S BLUEPRINT FOR NIGERIA [Part 1]

GOD'S BLUEPRINT FOR NIGERIA [Part 1] By Macpaul Ifeanyichukwu Okolo These three were the sons of Noah and from these the whole earth was populated. [Gen.9:19] NAIJA, WE BE BRETHREN - Though not born by one mother, we have common ancestry. NAIJA, WE BE BRETHREN God gave a man named Nigeria three sons.   One is named Feudal, another Monarchy and the other is named Republican. Feudal's nature is do mineering, Monarchy is imperialistic while Republican's nature is egalitarian equality and justice for all. Feudal can only prosper in feudalism - a type of government where one powerful fief will wield control over an estate, and be dominant. Monarchy will succeed naturally in an environment where every citizen is subservient to the king while Republican can only thrive in a government where power belongs to the people and equal rights reign. Remember that these men are the three sons of one man called Nigeria. Now let us...   1. Figur...
